Al Naslaa, Tayma

Al Naslaa is one of the most photogenic petroglyphs we have seen. The uniform slit between the two standing stones and the flat faces are completely natural. Note the small pedestals supporting the boulders. How long will they remain balanced here?

This photograph is made from 160 individual photographs taken with the Canon PowerShot G11 camera. The original photograph is 1500 megabytes and 536 megapixels.
